Join us on Tuesday 16 October at Wiltshire College, Salisbury, between 3-5pm for a talk by Jackie King ABIPP.

Jackie will be talking about her pathway and transition from University into Photography (12 years ago), showcasing new work and discussing the lessons, experiences and challenges she has encountered along the way and how the BIPP has helped.

Jackie’s background in Film and Fashion propel her signature style of photography and drive her creative essence, cutting her teeth as a stylists assistant on studio and location shoots for magazines and music videos, her attention to detail and artistic flare have encapsulated her unique approach to image taking.

“From photographing musicians in Algeria to celebrating Women in Science and Technology for Imperial College London, I have been delighted by the connections and the characters I have had the pleasure to capture on film and sensor, and I feel very strongly that these are reflected in the final images I have created”.

Jackie studied Fashion & Business Studies at University before working in the Film industry and then studying Photography in America. She also creates fine art imagery and has been exhibited internationally including ART Sydney, Australia, Dimbola Lodge, UK, New York, RAYKO San Francisco, China, and The Mall Galleries in London.
